I do love the way the oloroso sherry comes through. The tequila and Cynar definitely brings an earthiness and body to the drink but the sherry takes it home by providing just the right amount of spices. It's a perfect autumn/early winter cocktail.

Lovely. The description mentions both orange and lemon as a garnish and although the photo is with orange I preferred lemon. Maybe a lucky mistake! It does have a lovely spicy finish, hence I had to try two obviously.

Should have been express orange zest twist, not lemon, in step 5, which I've now corrected. However, worth taking into account your experience using a lemon twist.

Had to up the Repasado to 1.5 oz to balance this out.
