I'm curious which rum & Islay you used. I used Bacardi 8 year & Lagavulin 16 year and it was basically a smokey, sweet drink (in a good way), with the smoke very present in every sip.

Agreed. I used Barcardi 8 & Ardbeg wee beastie . I dropped it on an ice block. Beautiful blend I think.
