Recently bought a bottle of Crown Royal in solidarity with our Northern friends & neighbors and found this while looking for things to do with it. This looked more interesting than the equal-parts-of-just-2-ingredients Quebec cocktail, but I kept the 2 dashes of orange bitters from the Quebec. I didn't have Dubonnet so used Lillet Rouge (actually made in France!) and we were both happy with the result. Don't know why Difford has 2 different pages for this cocktail. And I love Richard's fake French accent!

I made with Canadian Club and French Dubonnet. Boozy but very tasty!
