Creme Egg Cocktail
As befits the name, this chocolate and vanilla vodka-based Easter Egg of a cocktail has both cream and egg – the later in the form of Dutch advocaat

This is (quite clearly) an over the top cocktail for Easter, and that is most of the point. I liked the cocktail+chocolate combo but the cocktail on its own fell a little flat. I think I was expecting something thicker with how dessert centric this was, I would probably make it next time with a cocktail heavier on the advocaat to add more body.

Is there a substitute for the advocaat? I can't find it here

Any type of egg liquor will do. I dont have advocaat, Walcher Bombardino works just as well

Advocaat isn't that hard to make. Egg yolk, sugar and some neutral spirit; vodka or genever/gin. Stir really good until it is creamy.
Sweet, yes, but the advocaat wasn’t really that noticeable, and when I make it next time I think I’ll up it to 30ml to see if it helps come through a bit more.
