Im gonna be honest, cant taste the chili or the elderflower.. the lemon juice takes over so much that it just tastes like a Lemon Drop to me! Burt- agreat way to use up ur elderflower syrup nontheless. Maybe less lemon

The citrus makes a big difference, i forgot it and the drink was sickly sweet, i put a lil squirt back in and stirred- suddenly the alcohol got kicked off a step which it needed. Lovely recipe!
Im not sure how u got urs so white and fluffy in the picture! You mention a whole egg including the yolk, no matter how much i shake it turns yellow and tastes absolutely awful🤣 afraid this is not for me
Tried this with Gin (roku) instead of vodka, gave about the same flavor, maybe a little bitter aftertaste. STRONG af. It lacks something however, not sure what but too bad
Was so excited for this but just kind of tastes like slush with no oomph.. no extreme sweetness, but no flavor either. Just like a ghost water made into slush ah
Rating on recipe is 3/5 but if u do as the comments say, Lessen the ice a little and twice up on the creme the coconut and u have a solid drink thats 4/5

Is there a substitute for the advocaat? I can't find it here
Any type of egg liquor will do. I dont have advocaat, Walcher Bombardino works just as well
Matcha powder, Hot water, Gin, Lemon juice, (+ 2 more)
