Launched in 1992 and named after Abraham Lincoln’s birthplace and childhood home in Kentucky, this 9 year-old small-batch bourbon has a high corn content...
ABV: 50% / 100 proof. Color: Dark Honey. Nose: Slight ethanol burn. Sweet vanilla and caramel. Mild grass notes. Taste: Mild toasted oak upfront with vanilla and very faint caramel finish. Finish: Oak and rye spice are very prevalent at the end. Medium linger finish. Very smooth overall. Kentucky Hug: 2 out of 5. Comment: A decent small batch Bourbon but it is lacking depth for a 9 year old one.
