So, right. Definitely Jungle-Bird-esque. Little nicer (read "smoother") bitters profile, even. Very drinkable, goes on the faves.

I like a Jungle Bird but I have to agree with Mike Beatty, since I also preferred this drink for the same reasons, in fact I like to showcase the tropical note a little more by adding an extra 10ml or 1/3oz of pineapple juice, in exchange for 2.5ml or 1/12oz less simple syrup, might try adding 1 dash of aromatic bitters next time

To my tastes, this is much better than a jungle bird. The aperol plays better with the pineapple then the campari
