Novo Fogo's distillery sits where mountains, rainforest and ocean converge, near the town of Morretes in the state of Paraná in the south of Brazil. Cleverly, the zero-waste distillery is built on a hill so the liquids progress through production by gravity without the need for mechanical pumps.
The folk at Novo Fogo say, "you should be able to taste the rainforest in our cachaças" and the bottle is curvaceous to represent their commitment to preserving nature, which has no perfectly straight lines.
