A true masterpiece of a drink. A portion of it lives on in every other cocktail, to an extent. And the best part? You never get a hangover drinking one of these.

I made this recipe expecting it to be horrible. I used Tanqueray for the gin and Rose's grenadine. I did a dry shake instead of a reverse dry shake, but I don't think it matters all that much.
The drink was a neon pink and tastes like undersweetened bubblegum. Not atrocious, but not my thing by any stretch.
Spicy, as it suggests. Tastes slightly of rubbing alcohol upon swallowing. Overall terrible flavor. I would recommend it to those who wish to spew vomit from their throats and those who like to spew vomit from their throats. It was my dad's go-to drink growing up so it became mine and I thought I enjoyed it, but I've since realized how bitter tasting and artificially burning it is to the inside of my mouth and soul.
That sentiment goes for a lot of vodka. The point of vodka is that it doesn't really have much flavor going on, with the drink being a neutral spirit.
