Made it with blanco tequila and added 1/4 oz lime to balance to my taste. Delicious!

Real good! Fernet works better with cognac than with whisky IMO. Next time I’m going to try upping the cognac to 2oz and cutting the maple in half to dry it out a bit.
A really nice drink. I like it with 3/8 Orgeat, a barspoon of Absinthe (maybe 1/4?) and an extra dash of Angostura.
