This is... well, to my taste at least... not good. Mint, apricot, and artichoke don't blend, they clash. (used: Tempus Fugit cdm, Rothman and Winter apricot liqueur, and Amaro Aplomado for the artichoke liqueur)
Not a fan. For my palate there’s no getting around the cloying, hard-candy flavor imparted by the cherry liqueur.
That's why I split it with Cherry Heering and a cherry brandy or kirschwasser
I made it with bottled-in-bond apple brandy and pommeau instead of Apple Schnapps and it was delicious. Somehow sweet and dry and apple-y. Would make again!
As other folks state, it's better as it warms up. But it's surprising how the vermouth and Cynar kind of obliterate the gin flavor.
