Tried one with Montenegro and one with Averna, and much preferred the Averna version.
It seems like there already is some "green banana" in the Montenegro, and thus the resulting drink is overly banana candy flavored.
Averna's spice pairs exceptionally well with a smokey Laphroaig, in my humble opinion :)

I have a cold brew recipe book by Chloe Callow containing a recipe for cold brew Negroni. However, it uses equal measures. I suppose I will have to try both versions then ?‍♂️
