Wow, I was not aware of this. One sure learns the hard way.
The book, hard cover is in good condition, absolutely useable but shows that it is not fresh off the press. Will have to live with it. Thanks a lot for the swift reply. Appreciate it.
Dear Simon,
Today, my copy of the "cocktails #7" arrived. It sure is a bible! Some comments: the writing is quite small so reading in subdued light condition is impossible. I am saddened that you use "shots" for the measurements. I do understand that you are living in the USA so oz etc can not be avoided. I like to call these non-metric measurements Yesteryear Measurements. Would be nice to have the US adapt to the rest of the world and not, as usual, expect the contrary. Well, you and I cant change that.
With a marker I added 'shot' to 25ml on your measuring cup. Best regards from Tokyo, Andre
Indeed, very clear and easy to understand. Thanks a lot for your great replies and support.
Just one note: most cocktails are very exotic needing all kinds of ingredients. The basics I have but not much more
which means either searching for some of the required ingredients or, looking for more simpler recipes. This is just a comment.
