Bacardi Limón is a citrus flavoured spirit (too low in strength to be called a rum within the EU) made by blending Bacardi rum with oils from the zests of lemons, limes and grapefruits.

These intensely flavoured oils are extracted in a process that uses thousands of tiny razors to score the fruits peel allowing the skins oils to be collected without coming into contact with the acidic juices of the fruit.

Topping up a bottle of lager with a shot of Bacardi Limón makes something called a Limón Bandito.
