Ivanoff Blue is unusual in that it is distilled from molasses spirit by Demerara Distillers in Guyana and also of interest as it is rectified in the world's last operating wooden column still.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Notes of cardboard box and rubber bands sit over white pepper spirit.

Taste:

Slightly sweet, earthy charcoal with white pepper spice and faint melon/peach fruitiness.

Aftertaste:

Charcoal and peppery spice with faint cardboard (in an appealing way).
