Review and Tasting

Sampled on 18/06/2012

Appearance:

Clear, reddy-coppery-brown with burgundy highlights. (Seal broken for this tasting but we fear could be a dated sample).

Aroma:

Complex and pungent Christmas cake fruit and fresh raspberry with window putty and spirit spice.

Taste:

Intensely flavoured and intensely sweet, like a crème de framboise on steroids blended with currents, sultanas, dates and spicy spirit.

Aftertaste:

Powerful, spicy sultanas and dates.
