To quote the informative label, "Colomba is a traditional white beer brewed from barley and wheat. Columba forges its perfume and aromas with herbs from the "Maquis", the famous Corsican scrubland, during the boiling of the wort."

It also lists the ingredients: water, barley malt, whet malt, hops, yeast, mixed herbs, antioxidant E220 (the latter E-number referencing sulphur dioxide (SO₂).

Avaliação e degustação

Experimentado em 01/02/2011

Aparência:

Hazy, straw yellow.

Aroma:

When first poured omitted a rather stinky, still-fermenting nose. Aroma fades to slightly cheesy, with yeast notes.

Sabor:

Thin palate with lightly bitter citrus and estery fruit.

Aftertaste:

Hint of coriander, vegetal to a slightly metallic, fizzy finish - akin to fermenting fruit juice.
