A bottle conditioned ale released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the British Hedgehog Preservation Society, a Shropshire based charity founded in 1982 by Major Adrian Coles MBE. Sadly, despite the charity’s work, numbers of the prickly mammals in Britain have fallen by 25% over the past decade

Avaliação e degustação

Experimentado em 25/07/2012

Aparência:

(05-Jun-13) Cloudy, coppery amber with thin half finger head which quickly fades to little more than a ring of foam.

Aroma:

Subdued, freshly baked white baguette crust malty aroma with faint floral hops.

Sabor:

Classic, refreshing, sessionable British ale with just enough floral hops to give the mildly malty palate a lightly bitter pine-ey bite. However, some will consider bland.

Aftertaste:

Pleasant lightly hoped maltyness.
