First brewed in 2005 to celebrate the move of Brakspear’s unique brewing equipment to the Wychwood Brewery after the original brewery closed in 2002. Brewed with Pale Malt, Black Crystal and Oats with Target hops using Brakspear’s “double drop" wooden fermenting vessels.

The first fermentation takes place in the upper level of wooden fermenters before the beer is moved to the lower vessels for a long, slow secondary fermentation. The third fermentation, hence this beers ‘triple’ name, takes place in the bottle.
