The result of a collaboration between Windsor & Eton brewery and Czech brewer Pivovarsky Dvur, with the aim to produce a Saaz hopped Pils similar to those made in Prague. It is brewed using Saaz hops, Czech pilsner yeast and malt which is fermented for 2 weeks before ‘lagering’ for a further 6 weeks

Aparência:

(sample best before 30-Jan-13) Clear, deep coppery amber with two finger-thick off white head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Pungent, toasty and malty just out the oven bread crust with an earthy bloody beef character.

Sabor:

Burnt fruitcake and bread crust with baked apple and herbal hops.

Aftertaste:

Lingering lightly bitter, herbal bread crust.
