The result of a collaboration between cider makers Eleanor and Albert Léger working with liquoriste Deirdre Heekin. Eleanor and Albert have an established reputation for the ice cider they make in West Charleston, Vermont. Working with Deirdre a blend of Vermont grown herbs are infused in this base

No sugar is added to Orleans Herbal Aperitif, the concentration in alcohol, sugar and flavour in the cider is a result of the natural freezing which occurs in the cold Vermont winters. The brix after cryo-concentration is 26°, residual sugar 1.0% and total acidity 0.9%.

Aparência:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Wonderfully aromatic cider with honey and delicate herbal floral notes. Slight cinnamon spice.

Sabor:

Concentrated apple cider flavour with lemon citrus, honey and complex herbs and spics.

Aftertaste:

Best compared to an aromatised wine, Orleans Herbal Aperitif is an interesting alternative to vermouth. Serve chilled.
