Francisco Montero founded his rum business in 1963, making 2013 the 50th anniversary. To celebrate the occasion Francisco’s family, who now run the business, decided to create this bottling in honour of ‘Uncle Paco’ who passed away in 2012.

The rum is distilled using the traditional Ron Montero process of partial vacuum column stills and then is aged for a minimum of ten years in a Soleras and Criaderas system before.

Aparência:

(bottle No. 3085) Clear, light-mid golden amber.

Aroma:

Leathery dark fruit boiled sweets, vanilla and dried fruit with light cinnamon, nutmeg and with faint cacao.

Sabor:

Cinnamon, nutmeg spice and white pepper spice sit over new leather, candied and dried fruit.

Aftertaste:

Dried fruit and boiled sweets with cinnamon spice.
