Isle of Skye is a blended whisky with a high proportion of Isle of Skye (Talisker) and Speyside single malt whiskies. The youngest whisky in the blend is 8 years old and the blend is married for six months prior to bottling. New packaging was introduced in 2012.

Appearance:

Clear, deep burnished coppery amber.

Aroma:

Burnt buttery toast, earthy peat, subtle smoke and vanilla cake batter.

Taste:

Honey, vanilla and malty sweetness, dry earthy peat and slight smokiness.

Aftertaste:

Lingering restrained smokiness.
