This triple distilled 100% agave tequila is named after Justin Timberlake’s own 901 tequila brand, which in turn is named after the area code of Timberlake’s Memphis home neighbourhood. This brand extension is the result of a partnership between Sauza’s owner Beam Inc. and Justin Timberlake.

The launch of Sauza 901 and the Beam – Timberlake was announced in January 2014.
