A caraway and cumin-flavoured semi sweet liqueur from Schilkin, a company whose distilling history stretches back to the beginning of the 20th century when the Schilkin family were given the Russian court's approval in recognition of the vodkas they were producing.
Following the Russian Revolution the company's founder was forced to leave Russia and settled in Germany. Over the years the business has survived the Second World War, been nationalised and then re-privatised after the fall of the wall and began exporting to the US at the turn of the century. The company is now in the hands of its fourth generation leader Patrick Mier, grandson of Sergei Shilkin, who had taken over after the war.

Crystal clear.
Clean caraway and cumin with rye aromas and faint cucumber flesh.
Drier than many other kummels with just enough sugar to balance and enhance the cumin spice. Rye bready flavours and faint cucumber skin add depth to this complex liqueur.
Clean, a continuation of the palate with fading caraway.
