Appearance:
Clear, scarlet red.
Aroma:
Pungent cherry, aniseed, orange and faint liquorice.
Taste:
Light quinine bitterness, cherry, orange zest and mint.
Aftertaste:
Bitter cherryade finish.
Overall:
Bitter Truth's Creole Bitters are very similar to and arguably more aromatic than Peychaud's Bitters. They are certainly a great alternative.
