Distilled in Provence, France, this pale salmon-pink coloured gin is based on neutral grape spirit redistilled with 12 botanicals: juniper berries, coriander seeds, orris root, pink grapefruit, cardamom, grains of paradise, pink peppercorns, eucalyptus, fennel, basil, mint and thyme.
Firstly, a single-shot gin is made by distilling the six traditional gin botanicals together ( cardamon, grains of paradise, pink pepper, juniper, iris and coriander). The six Provençal botanicals (thyme, basil, fennel, pink grapefruit, eucalyptus and mint), all hand-picked from the nearby mountain slopes of nearby Montagne du Lure, are infused and distilled separately. The two gins are then blended together.
The pink hue apparently comes from the pink grapefruit which we presume are also macerated after distillation.

Clear, pale pink.
Pine, eucalyptus and zesty grapefruit freshness with black pepper and cardamom spice.
Faintly sweet with piney juniper, eucalyptus, assertive spice, nutty angelica, zesty citrus and floral violet (presumably from the Orris Root).
Mint and thyme emerge in the lightly spicy pine and eucalyptus finish.
One of the better and more serious examples of a "pink gin" with pleasing citrus and floral notes, but these are somewhat dominated by peppery spice (grains of paradise, pink peppercorns and cardamom). Attractive packaging with a nifty glass stopper.
