Made by the Amodeo family in Washington D.C., the recipe for their Fico D'India prickly pear liqueur apparently dates back to 1954.
Made with the fresh cactus fruit that grows wild along the mountainsides of Southern Italy, which is said to have a "kiwi-like" flavour that pairs well with mezcal, tequila and pisco.
