The process of making Contratto Aperitif starts with crushing the secret recipe of botanicals with a hammer mill. According to Piedmontese tradition, these are cold-infused in a hydroalcoholic solution for about 35 days.
The extract is mixed with alcohol and sugar and is then refrigerated and filtered. Finally, it is rested in steel tanks for about 40 days.
Ingredients
Alcohol, water, sugar, extracts from 28 aromas derived from natural herbs, spices, roots, and seeds (of which 10 are secret), carrot and beetroot extract give the Aperitif its colour.
