This English lager from Wells and Young's claims an Indian recipe and is targeted at curry eaters, hence it is cheekily named Mongoose due to the mammal's ability to kill snakes… particularly Cobra. Presently rivals Cobra and Kingfisher dominate the UK’s Indian restaurant market

Appearance:

Clear, pale orange with small beige head.

Aroma:

Subdued, corn and straw with mild pine hop aromas and a slight whiff of bad eggs.

Taste:

Dry with mild but pronounced hops - pleasing if a little one dimensional.

Aftertaste:

Dry piny hop cleansing finish.
