
Cut a long swath of mandarin orange peel. Roll tightly. Pierce with cocktail skewer and place in the glass so that the mandarin "flower" hovers just above the liquid.
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.
Stir with ice until well chilled and a whisper of condensation appears on the glass.
Strain into a chilled Nick & Nora or small martini glass.
Garnish with (but do not express) a mandarin orange peel. You don't want an oil slick floating on top, just a hint of aroma as you sip.
1 1/2 fl oz | Graham's Six Grapes Port Wine |
1 fl oz | Mandarine Napoleon liqueur |
1 fl oz | Blended Scotch whisky |
2 dash | Peychaud's Aromatic Bitters |
