Review

This Japanese restaurant and bar concept created and proven in London arrived in the Sunshine State in 2012. Like its London sibling the Miami branch of Zuma attracts the beautiful and the moneyed with a blend of style, sushi, sake and cocktails.

Designed by Tokyo based Noriyoshi Muramatsu, the décor features Zuma's signature earth tones with granite, Japanese rice paper panelling and Indonesian wood. Situated in the grand floor of the swanky Epic Hotel the location provides Zuma with a terrace overlooking the mouth of the Miami River and Biscayne Bay. This allows drinkers and dinners to pop by in their luxury yachts and literally moor directly outside and step straight into the bar and lounge area for Sake Martini.

Yuzu juice features heavily on a cocktail menu dominated by in-house creations,
with a number of exotic riffs on Dick Bradsell drinks such as the Bramble, Russian Spring Punch and the Treacle. Alternatively there are over 80 varieties of sake, house shochu infusions and a 365 strong wine list.
