Review

The name of this warmly lit, inviting bar neatly sums up the style of the excellent cocktails, spirits and food served here.

The floor to ceiling windows looking into the street are made less austere by curtains obscuring the lower half. As you walk inside the warmly lit room you'll be greeted by mellow jazz tracks and the corner of the square wood plank topped, U-shaped island bar that occupies most of the white walled room.

Three large mirrors on the facing wall and a collection of mismatched small mirrors on the right wall, along with the large windows onto the street help the small room feel deceptively large and uncluttered. A further back room lies behind the bar.

Artisan is a great place to grab a quick snack accompanied by a very tasty cocktail. However, be warned, this is a popular but small place and they don't take reservations.
