The Fullerton Hotel, a lavish colonial building that dates back to 1928 and still shines on Singapore's bayfront, was once the General Post Office. And Post Bar, the hotel's main bar, honours this heritage with a bright red, classic British post box centre stage.

Post is a slick space, decked with tall flowers, long draperies, marble and gilding, with a status champagne bar, private meeting area and an elegant central bar.

Although the style crowd may have moved on to its sister hotel, the Fullerton Bay Hotel across the way, Post retains a classic style and elegance.

The drinks list is fruit led. Beginning with a selection of eight Slings - their Singapore Sling is remarkably well-balanced - it progresses through the Singapore favourite fruit Margaritas and some of their own concoctions. Enjoy either indoors or al fresco, on their expansive paved terrace.
