A new addition to the Monin range of flavoured sugar syrups in late 2025, Monin Hot Honey Syrup is designed to deliver slow-building jalapeño heat, fresh bell pepper notes, and rich honeyed sweetness.
Monin Hot Honey Syrup is allergen-free and made with natural flavourings and colourings.
Ingredients
Sugar, water, natural honey flavouring, natural green bell pepper flavouring, acid: citric acid, colour: E150a, natural jalapeño and chilli pepper flavouring, preservative: E202.
Review and Tasting

Appearance:
Hazy, golden amber.
Aroma:
Freshly sliced jalapeño chili pepper and green bell pepper.
Taste:
Initial honey richness is followed by chili heat. As this subsides, jalapeño chili pepper and green bell pepper flavours emerge.
Aftertaste:
Chili spice, caramel honey and green bell pepper.
Overall:
Honey, it's hot! This syrup has a real kick to it.
