Review and Tasting

Sampled on 18/04/2014

Appearance:

Clear, deep (almost opaque) maroon red.

Aroma:

Very pungent concentrated blackcurrant juice.

Taste:

Intense blackcurrant with some blackcurrant jam. Syrupy mouthfeel with balanced tartness and sugar sweetness but thinner than other higher alcohol strength Lejay cassis.

Aftertaste:

Dry fruit, with long lingering blackcurrant fruit.
