Made using destalked, freshly harvested pomace of Moscato grapes selected from dedicated production zones. The fresh, soft pomice is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks under vacuum.

This is followed immediately by distillation in artisanal batch copper steam stills renovated by Benito Nonino.

Nonino Il Moscato Grappa Monovitigno was created by Giannola and Benito Nonino in 1973, and made using a then-revolutionary method of producing Grappa.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Wonderfully aromatic with raw pasty, thyme, green apple skin, grapes, and buttery linseed oil.

Taste:

Floral, thyme and vanilla with lemon meringue pie, mild cinnamon and white pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Thyme emerges in the lightly spiced finish.

Overall:

Clean and expressive of the muscat grape with floral herbaceousness and cleansing lemony freshness.
