For many years Freedom Brewery concentrated on brewing lagers rather than ales. That was until July 2016 when the brewery released this, their first pale ale. It is brewed with brewed with Cara, Lager and Rye malts, American Chinook and Cascade hops, along with New Zealand Motueka and Rakau hops.
Freedom Prototype Pale Ale is just that, a prototype only made available is a limited number of outlets. The beer’s label invites drinkers to give the brewery feedback to influence the final product due to be launched in September 2016.
