A dry amontillado sherry made from 100% Palomino Fino grapes and aged for an average of 12 years in American oak casks in a traditional solera.

The Palomino grapes destined for Viña AB are pressed using pneumatic Wilmes presses. Following fermentation to 11% -12% alc./vol.. The wine is then fortified to 15.5% alc./vol. and enters the Tio Pepe solera where flor forms on the surface of the wine. The wine remains for a minimum of 4 years in the solera under the flor before being moved to the Viña AB solera where it remains for a further 8 years. During this period the flor will die allowing the wine to oxidise.

Clear, pale amber.


Green grape must, almond, hazelnut and yeasty white bread dough.


Dry with a slight saltiness, white wine acidity, green grape, asparagus, minerality and leathery vanilla biscuity notes.


Lingering acidity, grape juice, asparagus and faint nuttiness.


Fruity with drying balancing acidity, slight saltiness, green grape, asparagus, minerality and leathery vanilla biscuity notes.
