Following an initial one year resting in stainless steel vats, this Riserva grappa is aged for seven years in oak casks sourced from the same forest in Slavonia, Croatia, used by Nardini since it became the first distiller to market aged grappa some 70 years ago.

Appearance:

Clear, mid amber.

Aroma:

Macadamia nut, cider apple, pear, buttery oak, blueberry, blackcurrant, and vanilla.

Taste:

Cherries, red wine/grapes, dark honey, linseed oil, black pepper, and cinnamon spiced oak.

Aftertaste:

Nutty and lightly spicy with lingering nutmeg, carob, and chocolate.

Overall:

Elegant and enlivening with pleasing nutty, fruity and chocolaty notes.
