A single estate vodka made in Wiltshire England from Horatio wheat grown onsite at the Ramsbury Estates (a variety of wheat often used in baking) and the distillery's own chalk-filtered water.
The new Ramsbury bottle designs were launched in January 2021, featuring an illustration of the Ramsbury farm on the inside of the back label and field coordinates feature on the front of the bottle, marking the exact location where the wheat is sown and harvested.
Ramsbury Single Estate Vodka is best enjoyed over ice, or in a delicious Ramsbury serve.
Review and Tasting
Sampled on 03/01/2018
Appearance:
(sample bottle made with Horatio wheat harvested Aug 2015 and distilled Autumn 2015) Crystal clear.
Aroma:
White crusty bread and white pepper spice.
Taste:
Superbly clean with good bready character, light cracked black pepper spice and a faint creamy vanilla sweetness.
Aftertaste:
Cracked black pepper spice and light creamy vanilla.
Overall:
Clean and cleansing with great bready wheat character and just enough peppery spice. A well-designed statuesque bottle and single field tractability add to this single estate vodka's appeal.
