Launched in 1968, Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé (or 'El-Pee-Rosay' as they call it in some parts of London) led the creation of the non-vintage rosé category.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes using the saignée (maceration) method, leaving the juice on its skins for 48 to 72 hours depending on the harvest, to extract colour and flavour as opposed to simply blending red and white wines. Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier uses wine from ten different 'crus' (or villages) situated mainly in the South and North areas of the Montagne de Reims - including the famous Côte de Bouzy. The wine is cellar aged for at least four years after bottling (six years for magnums).

Bottled in Laurent Perrier's distinctive squat 16th century-style bottle.
