This rum's colour is not derived from ageing in wood – it is unaged. Its golden hue comes from adding a little caramel, which brings a small amount of sweetness alongside grassy, tropical fruit and baked banana leaf to the base Goldstone White Rum.

Appearance:
Clear, golden amber.
Aroma:
Pungent and funky with fruity esters. Caramelised pineapple and banana leaf.
Taste:
Fruity esters and caramelised pineapple, then spicy notes kick in before being mellowed by subtle rounding sweetness.
Aftertaste:
Long lingering esters, caramel and black pepper spiritious spice.
Overall:
Rum purists will be perturbed at this "Amber Rum" merely being Goldstone White Rum with added caramel. The result is visually different and amplifies the caramelised pineapple note in this rum while also generally mellowing and rounding. No oak trees were harmed in the making of this rum!
