Sometime around 1840 the Chartreuse formula was adapted by Brother Bruno Jacquet to produce this lighter, sweeter and more approachable yellow version of the classic green elixir.

Clear, marigold yellow with hints of green.
Mocha coffee and dark chocolate with angelica, spruce needles, peppermint, aniseed and tarragon.
Mellow, honeyed sweetness and minty freshness with rootyness, zesty citrus and pine needles.
Incredibly fresh breath finish. Peppermint, spearmint, mocha coffee, lime zest, gentian, anise and cracked black pepper.
One of the great classic liqueurs, Yellow Chartreuse has a huge, enveloping, honey sweet and minty fresh palate with herbal complexity.
