Made using a double infusion of red vermouth and bitter herbs. After an initial infusion with small roots and aromatic flowers of mountain plants, the vermouth is rested in chestnut casks for two years. Then the second infusion of bark and root sourced from the area around the winery is added.

Appearance:

Clear, tawny maroon red.

Aroma:

Pungent herbs and orange peel with hints of balsamic, clove and dried fruits. Faint nutty oak.

Taste:

Bittersweet and full-bodied with tangy orange marmalade, wormwood and other woody herbs and tobacco.

Aftertaste:

Herbal bitterness and rich berry fruit.

Overall:

Complex rich berry fruit and assertive herbal bitterness.
