Serve in a

Double old-fashioned

Garnish:

Pineapple leather

How to make:

Shake all ingredients and double strain into the glass.

30 ml Patrón Silver blanco tequila
30 ml Pineapple juice (freshly extracted/pressed/squeezed)
20 ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
10 ml Yellow (Jaune) Chartreuse liqueur
15 ml De Kuyper Pineapple liqueur
1 dash (4 drops) Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)

Origin:

When I visited the Patrón Hacienda in the 2019 final, I saw similar elements to that of the Chartreuse House in the history, the legacy and the production process.
As a French man, I wanted to show the "Savoir Faire" combining the stronger Patrón Silver with the Yellow Chartreuse and the saline solution of the French Guerande salt.
I added a fresh pineapple juice for length, strengthened with pineapple liqueur (for the real Perfectionists, use Patrón Pineapple Liqueur).
For the 'peps' of the cocktail, I use the French lemon from Menton of course.
On the top of the glass you will see a pineapple leather. Le petit jaune - the little yellow - it's when you tell a 'ricard' in south of France.
