
Garnish with fresh cherries (just like olives with a martini). They also act as a delicious dessert at the end of the drink. Alternatively, you can garnish with a nice piece of orange twist, or a stick of cinnamon depending on your countries weather and Christmas food being served. For the bartenders out there you can also serve with some flavoured smoke, which would really make this drink pop visually.
NOTE: simple syrup is optional.
Pour all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and shake. Pour into a chilled coupe glass.
1 fl oz | Heering Cherry Liqueur |
1/2 fl oz | Triple sec liqueur (40% alc./vol.) |
1/4 fl oz | Sugar syrup 'simple' (1 sugar to 1 water, 48°Brix) |
1 fl oz | Gin |
