Clairin, meaning 'Clear' in Creole, is a Haitian rum made from fresh cane juice. This bottlin, Clairin Communal, is a blend of four rums from small distillers in the four communes of Cavaillon, Barraderes, Pignon and St Michel de l'Attalaye.

All four distillers use traditional production methods such as natural varieties of sugarcane grown without herbicides or pesticides, wild fermentation, and a discontinuous distillation in small alembic stills.
