A lighter style ale brewed using Maris Otter barley, named for the rare carnivorous wetland flower, the Great Sundew (Drosera anglica), which experienced a revival when this beer was first brewed.
The plant this beer is named after has a sticky gel-like substance on the tips of tentacles that cover the leaves, given them the Appearance of having morning dew on them all-day long. Unsuspecting insects become stuck to the gel and the plant then slowly devours them.

Clear, orange golden with wafer thin white head.
Fairly restrained pale malt and floral hop nose with tinned peaches and citrus fruit.
Light grassy hops dominate a subdued, moderately bitter palate with sweet dried apricot fruit.
Faint lingering bitterness but little lasting flavour.
