Prichard claim to be the only distillery that re-barrels bourbon in new charred oak barrels and this Double Barreled Bourbon sits amongst a portfolio which includes a bourbon-styled Tennessee Whiskey, Rye Whiskey, Irish style Single Malt Whiskey and a white corn whiskey.

To quote Prichard’s itself: “Our rums are made from sweet American molasses from the plantations of Louisiana and our whiskies are not unlike those produced by Benjamin Prichard in Davidson County, Tennessee way back in the early 1800s. Distilled in traditional copper pot stills using the techniques of the master distillers of an older time, Prichards’ American Spirits are most certainly nothing like the commercially produced spirits we have come to know today.” In case you now believe this distillery’s heritage stretches back centuries, you’d be wrong: Prichard’s has only been operating since 1997 and is primarily a rum distiller.
